IFS- informed supervision

one-to-one and in a group

If you are a coach, leader or therapist I’d love to meet you!

Supervision offers a space to step back from your work — to gain perspective, see the wider system you're operating in, and notice your own patterns, blind spots and reactions. It's a chance to widen the lens, not just on the work itself but on your role within it, and to return steadier and more resourced.

Whether you're a coach, therapist or leader, the quality of your work rests on the quality of your own self-awareness. Drawing on IFS, and other supervision frameworks, I offer a supervisory relationship that's as much about understanding what gets triggered in you by the work as it is about the practicalities and interventions — so you can show up for your clients or teams with more clarity, curiosity and capacity.

  • Ruth Rochelle: IFS-informed coaching, supervision & IFS therapy

    one-to-one

My approach is developmental and holistic — remembering that we, as practitioners, are human beings with our own parts, histories and life contexts. The more self-aware and Self-led we are, the more effectively we can work with our clients.

We collaboratively explore client relationships and the systemic dynamics at play through different lenses, including IFS — noticing which of your own parts get activated by which clients — providing a powerful refresh to your practice and your brand.

Some practitioners meet with me regularly; some book a one-off session to explore a specific issue.

Sessions are 60–90 minutes, completely confidential, with no topics off-limits.

    in a group

Group supervision can be really powerful — each person brings a unique perspective and wisdom to everyone else.

Some groups want to explore a specific topic, context or issue. Some want an emergent space to grow and learn together. Others want more of a planned curriculum. I'm happy to explore what's best for you.

I'm available for regular group (2 or more people) supervision, and for one-off sessions. Collective sessions are usually 90–120 minutes — as in one-to-one work, completely confidential, with all topics welcome.

testimonial

“Ruth is a skillful and intuitive coach and supervisor. She creates a very safe space in which to do profound personal work. As a coach myself, it is very important for me to do my own work and Ruth is the perfect person to support me in this.

The sessions with her have been of great benefit to me both personally and in my client work, helping me to understand why I might be reacting in a particular way and to differentiate between what is mine and what is my client’s ‘stuff’.

She has a unique ability to keep your core question/challenge in mind, whilst at the same time being open to wider possibilities and opportunities to get to the absolute essence of the issue.

I love the way that Ruth captures our dialogue using pictures which she then shares with you after the session. This skilful use of pictures and imagery really sets her apart from others.”
